What does PAD hope to achieve by taking over the current government in Thailand?

Honestly the whole country's political situation got real bad after Thaksin was ousted. Where is Sonthi now? How come he didn't make a single noise since Samak took over as PM? He didn't even utter a word for the recent protests.

What does PAD hope to achieve? Do they think they can bring back the country to the level of Thaksin's era? I am afraid not. Even if they managed to oust Samak's government out, they'll still get the same problem. Things will go back to square one because it'll be pro-Thaksin supporters' turn to oust the government in power. This will never end.

Take a good look at Phillipines and Indonesia. Ever since a coup happened during Marcos' and Suharto's era, their economies went downhill. It was more like a curse really. That's why some things are better left as it is if the economy and government are doing well. Corruption is inevitable in any government bodies. If the economy is thriving and its citizens are having sort of good life why create such problems like protests, coups, overthrowing government, etc?

It is quite stupid of PAD to do just that because they are scaring away all the foreign investors! Yes Thais may be proud to say that theye don't need foreigners to come in to make the economy boom but this mentality will lead to sufferings in the long run.

It is very frustrating to see the unrests in Thailand yet again. Don't be surprised that PAD will have its day too if they took over the power. They'll have a taste of its own medicine. We shall see. I just hate it so much just when things are doing fine, we have these oppositions trying to ruin the country! They don't even give Samak's government a chance to prove their ability when they barely took over power from the military six months!

To PAD and its supporters, don't push your luck too far because you'll suffer the same fate as well if you took over the power.

Also I noticed that the ministers in current power and oppositions alike are always very ficker-minded. They can say one thing today and changed their minds the next day! This is the biggest joke! Like that how to gain its citizens' confidence?

Contributor's Note

I cannot stand the political situation in Bangkok! It is spoiling my dream of setting up a business there!
