How interesting to know that even a Thai senator blames the Thai government for the worsened situation in Bangkok
It is interesting to know that even a Thai senator is accusing the government of worsening the situation in Bangkok with tough police actions! Senator Rosana Tositrakul said the government has worsened the situation by having police take tough actions against the protesters, by assaulting them and demolishing their rally facilities. She said the government also made the situation worse by raising treason charges against the protesters. She said such a tough charge would drive more people to come out to join the rallies. She said the government would have to change its behaviors to try to tackle the crisis. I am wondering what the police are employed for if they cannot even take any tough actions against the offenders and protesters? It seems to me that in this country it is the people who dictate what the government can or cannot do. If that is the case then what is the use of having a government then? Why bother to call for an election? They might as well let the country be lawless! I cannot imagine even places like the airports and government buildings where there are supposedly high security being overtaken by the protesters. These people should be charged because it is a very serious offend. I urge people to avoid Thailand for tours. It is NEVER a safe country to be in anymore. If they can resort to this kind of hard-handed tactics against their own Thais and government, where do we foreigners stand? We might even get murdered there and don't ever dream of justice! Period.
